Gift Certificates (THIS PROGRAM WILL REMAIN IN PLACE FOR 2009)

Gift certificates for therapeutic massage are always appreciated, and are always immediately available!

Please keep this in mind when planning for Wedding Parties, Bridal or Baby Showers, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays... any day!

You are welcome to give others the gift certificates, or to treat yourself to a "DeeCompression Session!"

Persons purchasing a block of gift certificates - 10 or more - will be offered a 10% discount off my regular session fees. (See my "Appointments/Fee Schedule" page for regular session pricing.)

Gift Certificates will be honored for new clients, even though my stated intent is to NOT accept new private clients into the practice during 2009. Fair is fair.

Earn Free Gift Certificates Through Referrals! (THIS PROGRAM IS SUSPENDED FOR 2009, SORRY!)

Make two or more referrals to my practice will earn a free gift certificate towards a 45 minute massage after the persons who were referred schedule their first massages! You can use the gift certificates for yourself, or give them to friends and family.

Everyone "wins" through this referral process: someone gets a great massage, you receive or give a gift that costs you nothing and is much appreciated, and I have the pleasure of working with a variety of clients!

Massage Parties (THIS PROGRAM IS SUSPENDED FOR 2009, SORRY!)

Like massage? Have friends? Schedule 3 or more massages in the same location in the same time-frame, and the cost for each session will be discounted by 10%!!

Loyal Client Appreciation Perks (THIS PROGRAM REMAINS IN PLACE! I REALLY DO APPRECIATE LOYAL CLIENTS!)

Clients who have scheduled 12 or more sessions in a 12 month period (Jan - Dec) will receive a free 60 minute massage session each year upon request.

Firefighters , Emergency Service Personnel, and Military Personnel, Active & Retired (THIS PROGRAM REMAINS IN PLACE!)

These volunteers and peacekeepers are greatly appreciated for their service to our community, and I am honored to offer a 10% discount to firefighters, EMS providers, and military personnel in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area. Just be sure to let me know your status, and ask for the discount when making the appointment. As my age increases, my memory fades, and I'll appreciate the reminder.

Special Programs for Teachers

Several of my friends who work as schoolteachers have let me know that Fall (and Winter and Spring) are particularly stressful times of year. To help ease that stress, I am also offering a $5.00 discount for the initial visit to any teacher, staff member, or employee of local public and private school systems.

Corporate/Business/Church/Group Programs - Chair and Table Massage

Groups wishing to offer their members on-site massage opportunities are welcome to contact me, providing there are at least 8 people who wish to participate at consecutively scheduled times. Both seated massage and table massage are available in 10,15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minute sessions on-site. Businesses and groups would be responsible for providing a private work area, nearby restroom facilities, and internal publicity about the massage opportunity. Sessions can be scheduled at regular intervals or on an "on-call" basis, depending on my schedule availability.

A base fee of $20 is charged for all off-site visits to cover transportation and set-up/tear-down time, unless the arrangement is made on a standing basis, in which case the set-up charges will be waived Fees are simply paid at $1.00 per minute of service, if the employees are paying out of pocket, and $1.00 per minute that I am on-site if the parent company is funding the program.

Rehabilitation Facilities, Retirement and Extended Care/Assisted Facilities, and Adult Day Care Programs

Staff and clients of health-care programs can also benefit from massage services. Therapeutic massage can be provided to individuals on the massage table, in the "desk topper" chair (which can accommodate wheelchairs and persons with limited mobility), and in the bed, if necessary. I can provide transfer assistance to/from the bed/table/chair as needed, and will provide documentation of therapeutic massage sessions for the client's records upon request.
